Protect24 heralded their first ‘Meet The Contractor Day’ a great success.

Residents about to benefit from the retrofit of Protect24’s bespoke fire safety system had an opportunity to meet the team ahead of install.

Protect24 have been commissioned by City West Housing Trust to retrofit a fire protection package which includes fire sprinklers for 1,200 residents.

Residents were invited to meet the Protect24 ahead of the work to fully understand the scheduled build and satisfy any concerns.

Protect24 Managing Director Mark Lyons, said: “Communicating with residents and ensuring they fully understand and are onboard with what the Protect24 team are attempting to do is crucial.

“We feel very strongly that this is a hugely important part of the whole procedure and work tirelessly to ensure everyone understands what we are doing and why.

“It is perfectly understandable that residents are concerned, they prospect of builders drilling holes in walls and retrofitting sprinkler pipes and the like is a to consider.

“We try to go that extra mile to show residents how the system works, to demonstrate the way the work is carried out and the care and respect we show their property.

“The Protect24 team are vastly experienced and hugely talented and we take great pride in our work.

“The Meet The Contractor Day provides residents with the opportunity to talk with our team, express any concerns and see examples of our work which puts their mind at rest,”

The Protect24 team were on hand at the community centre known as “The Hub” at Cawdor House in Eccles and used a ‘show apartment’ to show residents the finished product.

Phase One for of the City West installation is scheduled to begin in March and will be finished in April.
